The Carbon Trust has produced a free guide aimed at school premises or business managers. It contains an overview of opportunities to reduce energy costs in business premises and provides links to more detailed technical information from the Carbon Trust.

Examples of what we have done as an organisation so far

At West Devon Borough Council, we have reduced our energy usage by installing solar panels on the roof of our headquarters at Follaton House. We have also introduced agile working for staff, which cuts down on mileage and commuting, and we have installed free-to-use electric vehicle charging points for our staff to use.
